Our team had the incredible opportunity to visit Capitol Hill and meet with our state representatives and their teams to advocate for the future of Head Start!
We had meaningful conversations with Senators Pete Ricketts and Deb Fischer, Josh McGuire Legislative Assistant for Representative Mike Flood, and Representative Don Bacon’s staff—Clayton Meyer and Matthew Duglin, Esq. We also met with Davis Powell from Representative Adrian Smith’s office to discuss the vital role Head Start plays in supporting children and families in our communities.
Advocacy is essential to ensuring continued support for early childhood education, and we’re proud to be a voice for the families we serve!
