Sarpy County/ESU #3 Head Start–Father Engagement at its BEST

Even as the Sarpy County/ESU #3 Head Start year began to wind down, May was yet another busy month!  They had a site visit from their Regional Office Program Specialist, Mustafaa El-Scari.  He toured a few classrooms, Gifford Farm and helped celebrate the fatherhood committee which was revitalized by Adama Sawadogo this year.  Their fathers have been engaged within the classrooms in a variety of ways throughout the year from putting furniture together to helping facilitate learning activities in the classroom.  The program was delighted with the groups enthusiasm as they looked forward to the future of this group wanting to know how they could generate more ideas and if they could be involved even when their children were no longer in the program
