The Nebraska Head Start Association extends a heartfelt thank you to all members who joined us for our in-person meeting on October 8th. It was an insightful and productive gathering, filled with meaningful conversations and collaborative planning for the future of Head Start in Nebraska.
A special thank you goes to Bob Bissen, Senior Director of Government Affairs from NHSA, for sharing his valuable knowledge and perspective. We also extend our appreciation to our First Five attendees, Elizabeth Everett and Sara Howard, for their contributions and engagement in the discussions. In addition, we thank all other guests who took time out of their busy schedules to be with us — your presence and input truly make a difference.
We were thrilled to celebrate the 2025 Scholarship and Award winners during our meeting. Congratulations to all recipients for your outstanding dedication and impact — your work continues to inspire and strengthen the Head Start community across the state.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue this important work together. Our next meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on December 10th. We look forward to seeing everyone there and keeping the momentum going!
